BMW Scoops Top Green Award At The 2008 New York International Auto Show
UK contract hire and leasing companies watched with interest as BMWÂ took the top green car award at The World Car of The Year Ceremony, which took place at the New York International Auto Show this month.
A panel of 47 motor journalists representing 24 countries bestowed the “World Green Car of The Year” award on the BMW 118d, a car that embodies the range of technological innovations that make up BMW`s award winning EfficientDynamics programme.
The award follows on from a host of UK and European environmental awards for the EfficientDynamics programme, which include the prestigious Auto 1 Innovation award at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this year.
